Together for Justice: PS 58 Joins with Chancellor Carranza, Superintendent Skop, and CEC 15 to Condemn Racism
This parent-directed program is open to all students in 1st-5th grade. The purpose of the program is to teach teamwork and introduce the game. It’s a ton of fun for kids AND coaches!
There are assessment sessions for 3/4/5th graders in the fall to ensure that teams are balanced, as well as a few follow-up practices before the season begins in January. (We ask kids to participate in all assessments if possible but understand hockey, dance, football, music conflict this fall – just let us know.)
Beginning in January, regular practices will be held one night per week and games are on Friday nights. First- and second-graders play on Saturdays.
We also need about 20 parents to assist with coaching! No experience necessary.
If you have any questions, please email parent Christopher Grimm at firstname.lastname@example.org.
