French fluency verification for Kindergarten applicants
AnnouncementsComments Off on French fluency verification for Kindergarten applicants
If you indicated that your child speaks French “very well” on you recent Kindergarten DLP application, and you live in our school zone, please make your child’s appointment for a fluency assessment.* Appointments are available in the mornings from January 19 through February 5. At your appointment, a French DLP teacher will meet with your child in person at school for a 15 minute conversation in French!
On the day of your appointment, complete a DOE building health screening form for your child. You can do this on your phone at home and show us the “good to go green arrow” on your screen when you arrive. Log into the DOE app as “guest”. Or, complete a paper form upon arrival to our school.
Temperatures will be taken at the entry
Everyone must wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth, including children
Parents must wait in the lobby while their child is speaking with the teacher
Windows are open for ventilation; dress your child accordingly
We look forward to meeting you.
* If your child speaks French “only a little” or “not at all” please do not make an appointment.
We are only scheduling zoned applicants for fluency verification at this time.
